Films of Nena Sesic–Fiser and Nenad Fiser are successfully presented in The Netherlands, Croatia, Macedonia, France, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine, India, Serbia, Lithuania, USA, Poland and China. On File is proud that Nenad and Nena are our members and with the fact that most of the films in this programme (excluding “Memories – work in progress”) are made with a kind On File support, too. This will be for a first time that Nenad and Nena’s films will be presented at one place in a kind of retrospection contain their AV works of last five years.
Nina Flis, our guest from Croatia, is singer and dancer, she will present us some traditional songs of north part of Croatia, birthplace of Nena Sesic – Fiser.

Nena Sesic–Fiser, born in Bjelovar (Croatia) and living between Sarajevo and Utrecht, is a painter by vocation but also a visual artist of multidisciplinary interests, filmmaker and animator. She exhibited her paintings and video-installations in numerous European galleries and her short and animated films were screened in a number of international film festivals. Most of her works she realized together with Nenad Fiser who is not only her partner in life but also a collaborator in her artistic projects, featuring as a co-director, cameraman, animator or editor. In 2009 their two films were awarded: experimental-documentary film “Memories-work in progress” received the “van Dokkumprijs” of GKunstliefde in Utrecht, and the animated film “What a City Dreams About” a special award for creativity at the International Film Festival EKO-OKO in Sarajevo.
